Context
A pest control company works on recurring contracts with public bodies and businesses. Technicians service devices installed across a territory, street by street and town by town, and every inspection has to be recorded because the contract requires it.
Problem
Contracts are defined street by street and town by town, installed devices carry their own inspection history, treatment programmes run in stages, and alongside all that sit warehouse stock and supplier price lists. This information was scattered between the people who sell, the people in the field and the people who invoice. The real cost is not looking data up, it is retyping: the same visit written on the technician's sheet, then in the sales system, then on the proforma, with three chances to get it wrong.
What I built
A management system covering the full cycle. Contracts with tasks planned across streets and municipalities, devices with templates, components, inspection logs and service calendars. Staged treatment programmes, warehouse movements and stock levels, supplier price lists with per-article price history, work progress statements with proforma, orders and invoicing. Separate roles for installers, warehouse staff, suppliers and contractors, so each person sees only the part of the system they need. I am the technical lead and work with one collaborator.
Outcome
Sales, field technicians and billing work on the same data: from contract to visit to proforma, nothing is retyped.
